Life in Korpo

Almost every summer we get the question “Can you actually live here all year round?”. The answer to that question is of course YES! It is a luxury to live in the archipelago! About 750 people live in Korpo all year round. We are a vibrant community and we have all the services needed to make life comfortable. Everything from kindergarten, school, medical care, elderly care, grocery store, hardware and general store, restaurants, pharmacy and everything else needed to make everyday life work. Here you can find blog posts that reflect everyday life in Korpo, 365 days a year. Maybe you're thinking of moving here too? :)

Word of the day: multi-taskers, martall & the Archipelago Sea

Juuret

Helmikuun toisena päivänä 2022 kello 22:32 olen ladannut läppärilleni netistä vanhan mustavalkoisen valokuvan, jossa poseeraa perhe talon edessä. Kuvatekstissä lukee: “Adolf Öhman with from left his daughter Amanda Mathilda, daughter-in-law Julia Adelina Wilhelmina, wife Amanda Carolina and granddaughter Sylvi Adele Öhman”. Muistan...

KUF's revue Häcken Full: Theatre at its best

What amazes me most about the KUF theatre group is how they have managed to bring together and showcase such a talented and passionate group of local actors. For an amateur group of theatre artists, we should be amazed at the level...
