Register of associations

The Korpo Martha Society is a long-established association founded in 1908. Today, the society has about 30 members who meet regularly once a month from October to May.

The purpose of the association is to activate cultural activities in the Korpo district. The association fulfils its purpose by organising cultural events, discussions, courses, cultural trips and parties for the local population, the leisure population and occasional visitors.

The Korpo Local History Society was founded in 1960 with the aim of preserving the cultural heritage of Korpo and the archipelago for future generations. Over the years, the association has collected and catalogued objects, preserved stories, and participated in and organised projects to accomplish this task.

The association organises the Korpo Sea Jazz and Sibelius in Korpo festivals.

Folkhälsan i Korpo is an association with about 120 members in the archipelago of Turku. We organise swimming school, winter swimming and Lucia.

Pro Korpo r.f. is a local association founded in 2014 to act as a forum for cooperation in local development work in Korpo. Pro Korpo publishes Pro Korpo Bladet and produces and coordinates various activities and events in the interest of local residents, part-time residents.
